Photography

In an increasingly computerized and fast-paced world, photography's ability to slow us down dazes me. We seek the physical, tactile reminder of how fragile moments are. And one of the most beautiful things about life is how quickly moments come and go.

Those moments can be captured and frozen through photography, allowing us to return to them repeatedly. It's also comforting to have something to cling to in a world which is constantly changing.

For me, photography provides a counterpoint to the mathematical, structured worlds where I work and live. It is the only thing I do that is not bound by rules.
